Amara's Dance Recital

A couple weeks ago Amara had her first dance recital. Soooo Cute. They performed a wonderful rendition of twinkle, twinkle little star. I think a star was definitly born....She stole the show in all her curly cute-ness! Here are some photos...

Matt And Chris....40 Years of Wedded Bliss

This Saturday Adam's parents celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary. We had a wonderful surprise party that was filled with loving friend, family and memories. You can see a slide show of some of the early Schoech years at: http://www.slide.com/r/0AYgckmL1j_ot6LSxRvwxdV9EI5S5E2L?previous_view=mscd_embedded_url&view=original

The Trout Festival

In true Kalkaska Alumni fashion we made it out to the Trout Festival over the weekend. Danyle decided that he was going to run in the trout run. After a 10 year retirement he came out of it to finish the 5k in just over 21 minutes. Not too bad. I caught a really bad cold and a killer bargain on a squirrel feeder at the Kalkaska Craft Show. Of course we had to stop at the carnival. And of course they were hundreds of people there in the 40 degree temps, with no coats on their kids and pockets full of $15 sheets of tickets. There were also some pygmy goats there that may have helped with my convincing of Adam that we need one!

The Little Jessie....and Nora's Father

Well yesterday was also a very special day because not only did Aaron Riley turn 29 but little Jessie turned 28. I hope both of these very special people got all they desired for their big days. I hope Aaron's birthday was not spent in a car driving somewhere and I hope Jessie's date at the theatre was all she hoped. Happy Birthday Guys......

Happy Birthday Dad..Happy Birthday Dane!

My dad always said the best present that Gail ever gave him was Dane and no matter how much time pasts I am pretty sure that will always be true. Today my dad turn 49 years old. He may be one year away from the big 5..0.. but we know that he still has a lot of years ahead of him. Today is Dane's 15th Birthday. We know that he is watching dad head out on the lake this morning and hopefully is celebrating his birthday keeping watch over all of us. Happy Birthday to my Montana Boys!
