Happy Birthday Adam

Well technically last week, adam turned another year younger but due to the opening day of walleye season we had to wait to celebrate until he got back. So this Sunday we had a little dinner/yard party. People just kept showing up and bringing delicious food and of course beverages. Too bad it had to be on a Sunday! Here are some photos. The 7th Annual Asparagus Festival

TEAM LAMBERT...This weekend danyle and I attended the 7th annual asparagus festival in empire and cleaned up. Danyle took first in his age group for the 5k and I took first place in the cooking contest! Here are some photos of the weekend fun

Turning 30

What an amazing birthday I had this weekend. So many people put so much time and effort into making this day so special that it made rolling over the big 3-0 not so bad. It was an event filled weekend, with movies, wine tasting, vodka tasting, food, more food, family and friends. Thank you to my mom for taking the time to create a birthday card 20 miles long at 4 am in 10 degree weather stretching from my house all the way to my work.....Thank you to Anthony and Grams for making the trip back and forth from Fife many times over...Thank you to Danyle for putting months of thought into ways to make me smile on my birthday...Thank you to all those who sent their love from across the miles.....Thank you to Schoech's for taking the time to be part of the celebration......Thank you to the Robinson's, especially Erin for reminding me that I am now 30.....And most of all thank you Adam....for loving me....putting up with me.....and dancing with me even when people are watching! http://picasaweb.google.com/merandalambert/30thBirthday#5454054814494242866

Cherry Capital Winter Wonder Fest

On Valentines Day, Danyle ran in the Frosty 5K at the Grand Traverse Resort and after a long winter hibernation still came out and finsihed 1st in his age group. His time was just over 20 minutes. He also got to sport his new running tights...Nice! Dan at the starting line
