Matt And Chris....40 Years of Wedded Bliss

This Saturday Adam's parents celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary. We had a wonderful surprise party that was filled with loving friend, family and memories. You can see a slide show of some of the early Schoech years at: http://www.slide.com/r/0AYgckmL1j_ot6LSxRvwxdV9EI5S5E2L?previous_view=mscd_embedded_url&view=original

The Trout Festival

In true Kalkaska Alumni fashion we made it out to the Trout Festival over the weekend. Danyle decided that he was going to run in the trout run. After a 10 year retirement he came out of it to finish the 5k in just over 21 minutes. Not too bad. I caught a really bad cold and a killer bargain on a squirrel feeder at the Kalkaska Craft Show. Of course we had to stop at the carnival. And of course they were hundreds of people there in the 40 degree temps, with no coats on their kids and pockets full of $15 sheets of tickets. There were also some pygmy goats there that may have helped with my convincing of Adam that we need one!
